Supply Chain

Supply Chain Development

Clients are today requesting evidence of performance from the whole supply chain when awarding contracts. This increase in demand has lead to greater emphasis being placed on supply chain integration, management and development. It may be seen as aspirational to transform a group of organisations, brought together to deliver a contract, into a winning supply chain may but we have evidence to prove that it is possible. This evolution draws upon a host of activities and here at 6ix Consulting we have utilised all of these including:

  • Setting strategic vision and shared performance and improvement targets
  • Supply Chain rationalisation
  • Lean Construction techniques to ensure effective practices and processes and efficient methods
  • Collaborative Working – aiming for the truly integrated, high performing team.
  • Collaborative Design including Value Management, Value Engineering and Whole Life Costing.
  • Collaborative Costing, including open book cost management, pain-gain sharing and Risk-Pot management.
  • Plan-to-Protect / FMEA– risk management.
  • The development and implementation of Supply Chain performance measurement processes incorporating weekly Supply Chain scoring systems, 360˚assessment and relationship assessment.
  • Post project reviews to identify ‘lessons learnt’
